During your stay at the Thompson Wellness House, you will be invited to a unique experience including daily workshops on relaxation, yoga and meditation sessions. The main themes looked at in the workshops are:

Understanding stress
Attitudes to develop (and adopt!)
A better acceptance of reality through reframing
Letting go
Time management and the here and now
Focusing : a connecting technique
A tribute to slowness
Calmness ; the benefits of silence and solitude
Pleasure : learning nesting and cocooning skills
High performance : for whom, why
Laughter

The workshops are conceived in order to enable participants to have an intimate personal experience within. They may share with the group or keep their experience to themselves.

Individual therapy sessions are available upon request.

Amma and california massages by a professional massotherapist are also included as well as reiki treatments.

Participants have access to a spa and a sauna for the duration of the stay.

The director of the Thompson House, Rosella Boudreau, is a professional social worker with experience in therapy and animation. In 1978, she obtained a Yoga teacher's training degree from Sivananda Yoga ashram in Grass Valley, California. She teaches meditation and various relaxation techniques. She also has professional training in focusing, reiki and rebirth. She has worked at The Solitudes in Pré-d'en-Haut, New-Brunswick, and recognises the benefits of silence and solitude in attaining a harmonious connection with the inner self. She has worked with native people and in mental health for the past 20 years.
